At EK, quality starts upfront with our planning and engineering processes and is maintained by every one of our manufacturers throughout the production process. Each operator on the EK floor is responsible for their work – making parts, components, and assemblies exactly to print, meeting customer specifications. We do this with every single part, no matter how small so that when it goes into the assembly, ultimately, the final part will meet or exceed customer expectations. Our facilities are outfitted with the most advanced, nuanced inspection equipment but ultimately it’s EK’s people that make our parts the quality that they are, and we are confident our quality is second to none.

You’ll find these words posted throughout our facilities as a reminder that quality always comes first. Our entire team diligently adheres to the spirit and intent of our quality policy, as well as the requirements of our Quality Manual and its supporting quality system documentation.
Our State-of-the-Art Facilities
At EK, we work to ensure our production team has the quality materials, equipment, tools, and processes they need to manufacture quality parts and components. From our complex CNC machinery to our customized machining and fabrication cells, every square foot of space, in both our facilities, is optimized to foster safety, efficiency, and quality. Our on-site training, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunities also empower each member of our EK team is working to their full potential and ability. We focus on balancing advanced equipment and talented people to ensure each part and assembly we manufacture will meet or exceed customer expectations.
Testing and Inspection Labs
At EK, our machining and fabrication units have dedicated quality assurance labs designed to test the structure, quality, design, and tolerance of our parts to triple verify that everything we manufacture meets even the most rigorous of customer requirements. Our customers can take an active role in establishing critical features and inspection frequency to ensure components and assemblies meet or exceed expectations.
Our facilities include three centrally-located, temperature-controlled quality assurance (QA) labs that work in coordination with several machine operator QA stations throughout our manufacturing areas.
Our equipment includes:
- Wenzel LH87 Coordinate Measuring Machine (X-800mm, Y-1,000mm, Z-700mm)
- Portable 6 ft. Romar Arms with accuracy up to .002 over full travel
- Sufficient gauging to support machining, fabrication, and welding operations
- Several granite surface plates up to 4 ft. x 11 ft.
